ADRENAL GLAND found directly on top of the kidney produces aldosterone, aldosterone has the role of regulating blood pressure, what causes high blood pressure? when too many carbohydrates are broken down into glucose in the bloodstream, the hormone insulin is released by the pancreas to help in converting excess glucose into energy or rather to glycogen, high insulin in the blood stimulates the adrenal gland to release aldosterone hormone which causes the kidney to reabsorb water and salts.
