KNEC Denies Claims of Portal Crash Amid High Traffic

The Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) has refuted widespread rumors that its results portal has crashed following the release of the 2024 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) results. This follows complaints from students and parents citing challenges accessing the portal to check their results. KNEC’s Official Statement.
In an official press release, KNEC clarified that the portal is operational but experiencing high traffic due to the volume of candidates attempting to access their results simultaneously. “The portal is functioning, and we urge users to exercise patience as our team continues to monitor and optimize system performance,” the statement read.
